Marwadi Education Foundation’s Group of Institutions (MEFGI) was incepted as a major organ of Marwadi Education Foundation in 2008, under the Bombay Public Trust Act 1950. Marwadi University in India was established by Government of Gujarat Private University Act 9/2016 and recognized by UGC. The Faculty of Law established in the year 2018, with the purpose of disseminating legal knowledge and providing quality legal education towards obtaining and fulfilling the Five-Year Integrated Program in Bachelor of Laws — B.A. LL.B. (Honours) or as a choice B.Com. LL.B. (Honours); additionally, also offering Curriculum in Master of Laws (LL.M.) as well as Doctorate in Law (PhD) as part of Quality Research Programs.
The University understands the need to have a holistic education, to prepare students as lawyers of the future. To achieve this, a teaching methodology is adopted where we have indigenously developed a 360-Degree Education Model. This structured program ensures that every student acquires the necessary soft skills and professional attributes that would give them the required fillip in their careers. The organisation of Expert Lectures, where Academic and Industry Experts demonstrate their experiences of working in the legal field undoubtedly provides a grand learning platform to the Students. In addition to strengthening their analytical skills, the Law Faculty offers sessions to sharpen their communication skills, personality development, attitude assessment etc. that are aimed at Skill Development. Recognising the diverse needs of Students from various countries, there is a dedicated Mentorship program to facilitate them in every way possible.
