Welcome to the ILFM Project
The innovative character of the Development of a Master Level Programme “International Law and Forced Migration Studies” (ILFM) project lies in the three points described below:
ILFM is based on the pressing need to make PC HEIs, key players in:
- the generation of high skilled professionals in the field of international law and forced migration,
- LLL to constant update of academic staff skills of the 21st century.
HEIs are consolidated institutions, already delivering solid and high-quality education. However, in order to create substantial impact on society educational curricula on the field must be created/modernized and academic staff capacities must be enriched.
ILFM addresses the current PC’s emergency, where local legal practitioners have huge responsibility in the provision of a multifaceted assistance to people in need of legal and humanitarian help. Having high skilled professionals trained from PC HEIs represents a unique opportunity achieve solid improvement of refugee strategy, in respect of domestic and international rule of law improvements, working methodology/processes that will generate sustainable results that will positively impact at societal level.
The intersection and cooperation HEIs/Legal Practitioners/Public Authorities defined in ILFM represents an innovative approach towards the contribution to: 1) a solid modernization of PC HEIs educational offer; 2) a significant improvement of legal practitioners specialized knowledge and 3) endorsement of results.
