The Department for Migration and Globalization (DEMIG) is the only university department in Austria that is exclusively dedicated to migration research and teaching. The department brings together a wide range of expertise on migration and integration issues in Austria, and has contacts in Austria and beyond to political actors, administration, social partners, civil society and the scientific community. DEMIG has a record of several international collaborative research and capacity building projects. These include projects within the framework of COSME, Horizon 2020, Erasmus Plus.
